Residents in the Jesmond and Heaton sector are invited to have their say on crime from the comfort of their home as Newcastle police continue a series of virtual meetings.
Jesmond and Heaton Acting Neighbourhood Inspector Kev Benson will log on to speak directly to local residents about crime and disorder in the sector.
Residents across the area are being urged to log on to join A/Insp Benson in a two-hour web chat.
It takes place on Sunday August 1, 2010 between 7pm and 9pm.
The meeting gives residents the chance to raise any concerns they may have about crime in their neighbourhood and ask questions.
And A/Insp Benson will be able to directly reassure them about ongoing initiatives, policing in their neighbourhood, the good crime figures for the area and to offer relevant crime prevention advice.
Visit the Jesmond and Heaton web pages on the day of the meeting to visit a link to the meeting. Visitors can pop in at any time during the two hours the meeting is running.
